GAHP is proud to announce that Leanne Mason, property manager at Luminaria Senior Community, is the recipient of the Eugene Burger Scholarship for Affordable Housing from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). The purpose of the Burger Scholarship is to support professionalism in the affordable housing industry. The scholarship can be used for tuition assistance for up to three ARM® certification courses or exams. GAHP will pay the remaining costs not covered by the scholarship.

About the scholarship:
Eugene Burger, CPM® (1933 – 2021) was a real estate management legend. He was a thought leader, a role model, an educator, and a champion of the affordable housing industry. He served as IREM’s President in 1981, and as the IREM Foundation’s President in 1988-1989. To learn more about Eugene Burger and his legacy, you can read more here.
