Louis Kolker - Executive Director
Mr. Kolker has a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. He has worked for over twenty years with local governments and non-profit corporations in community planning development. The GAHP’s Executive Director since May 1998, he has overseen eight developments of over 90 new homes in four of Albuquerque's traditional pocket of poverty neighborhoods. His responsibilities include all aspects of the development process from initial site identification and preliminary site layout and design, to project completion and closeout including developing financial pro-forma and securing project financing and subsidies.
Rose Perez - Home Ownership Counselor
Ms. Perez is the Home Ownership Counselor at the GAHP. Rose brings 15 years of experience from Consumer Credit Counseling Services Southwest where she was a Bilingual Budget and Housing Counselor and Educator. Rose has also worked at Martineztown House of Neighborly Services as a Family and Community Service Coordinator. Rose is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Management. She has received Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation Institute training in housing counseling and is a certified home ownership counselor. Rose also provides home ownership counseling to first time low income homebuyers and home ownership education classes.
Joanna Garcia – Administrative Assistant
Ms. Garcia is the Administrative Assistant at the GAHP. Joanna brings 8 years of administrative and clerical experience to the GAHP. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree from Wayland Baptist University in Management.
